These weekly calligraphy classes will give you the opportunity to learn and develop the art of beautiful writing in the easy and relaxed setting of the No.11 studio kitchen. We will begin with a step-by-step introduction to copperplate using pointed pens and guide sheets. Then, as the course progresses, we will move on to explore other calligraphic styles and you will have the opportunity to choose your own project, for example, place cards for a forthcoming wedding or special event, or perhaps a birthday card or poem. This is designed to be a relaxed and creative environment where participants can work independently but where we collectively support each other and offer advice and suggestions on design ideas and solutions.
